Stephen M. Woomer is a partner at Costanzo Woomer Nistendirk, PLLC, and works out of the Charleston office. He specializes in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to small to medium-sized businesses and to individuals throughout West Virginia and neighboring states.
Steve has also served as an expert in civil and divorce cases in West Virginia and has served as a consultant on civil cases involving lost profits, lost wages and additional loss claims. He has performed business valuation services for numerous clients involved in the purchase or sale of businesses or attempting to value the business for estate or gift tax purposes or planning purposes.
Steve was formerly a partner at Woomer, Nistendirk & Associates, and a senior manager with Simpson & Osborne, CPAs, located in Charleston, WV. His wide array of industry experience includes construction, manufacturing, coal extraction and coal loading, auto sales and repair, marketing and advertising, equipment wholesalers, professional service providers, medical and other health care providers, law firms, oil and gas producers, real estate development companies and nonprofit organizations.
Steve has as Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting from Marshall University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the West Virginia Society of CPAs, and has served on several community boards including the WV Jobs Investment Trust, United Way of Kanawha Valley, and Charleston Festival Commission.
